The Sheriff’s Office located in Norco City Hall is a substation of the Riverside County Sheriff's Jurupa Valley Station serving the city of Norco.
The Norco contract was established in 1964; the first contract city policed by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Norco is a 14 square mile city with approximately 26,000 residents, 87 miles of roadways and more than 120 miles of equestrian trails. Norco’s motto, “City living in a rural atmosphere” states its goal of providing a rural town atmosphere in spite of its location in Southern California.
In addition to 24/7 law enforcement patrol services, Norco contracts for dedicated traffic enforcement deputies, special enforcement team deputies and community services officers to serve the community. The Norco substation also has a public lobby that is open Monday – Thursday, from 10am to 2pm. The public lobby is staffed by a city employed community service officer who can assist with most non-emergency needs.
