On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, deputies assigned to the Wildomar Special Enforcement Team(SET), Lake Elsinore SET, and Lake Elsinore Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team worked with loss prevention and store managers at a local business located in the 23000 block of Clinton Keith Road, Wildomar. The operation was due to increased thefts directly associated with the store. During the operation, deputies contacted several people for various reasons, including parking violations, theft, and possession of illegal narcotics. In total, $760 of merchandise was recovered from the thefts.
The following subjects were arrested and or provided a citation during the operation:
- Khayonna Vandervalk, 26-year-old of Wildomar, for– shoplifting
- Edgar Ortega, 31-year-old of Wildomar, for– possession of illegal narcotics
- China Jewel Dillard, 37-year-old of Wildomar, for– parking in a red/emergency zone
The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station takes all crime seriously and will continue these operations throughout the year to combat theft in the community and protect businesses and their customers.
