On March 20, 2015, at 12 p.m, a family member of Daniel Ferguson called the Wildomar Police Department and reported him missing. Daniel Ferguson, a 50-year-old male from Wildomar, reportedly told family members he was going camping in the Ortega Mountains. A neighbor took Daniel to a location off of the South Main Divide, located off of the Ortega Highway. Daniel told the friend that he was going to travel the world. Wildomar Police and the police helicopter searched the area but were unable to locate Daniel.
According to family, Daniel has traveled long distances on foot in the past. Daniel was wearing a brown leather jacket and black jeans. Daniel was also equipped with camping equipment, food, water and a cellular telephone.
The Wildomar Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen Daniel to contact Investigator Cornett Number 4072 at 951-245-3357 to report his location.

On June 27, 2016, at 9:41 a.m, deputies from the Eastvale Police Department responded to a report of an endangered missing person in the 12600 block of Greenbelt Road in the city of Eastvale. Jose Carmen Olvera Pacheco, 79 years of age, walked away from his residence at 7 a.m. and did not return home.
Mr. Pacheco is described as a Hispanic male, five and a half feet tall, weighing 165 pounds. He has grey hair with brown eyes and has a mustache. Mr. Pacheco was wearing a blue polo shirt and tan pants. Mr. Pacheco’s family has reported that he suffers from diminished mental capacity.
Several patrol deputies, the Sheriff’s Department Aviation Unit and volunteers were used to search for Mr. Pacheco but have not been able to locate him. The search is continuing. The California Highway Patrol was contacted and a Silver Alert was activated.

Video surveillance captured Betty Toepfer exiting the RTA bus at the downtown Riverside terminal on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 9:45 a.m. She was last seen alone, on foot, leaving the bus terminal towards the area of University and Market. In addition to downtown Riverside and the city of Jurupa Valley, it is possible Toepfer may have also taken the bus to the Galleria at Tyler located in the city of Riverside.
Actual surveillance images from April 8, 2015 show Toepfer wearing a teal and black colored zip-up jacket, dark pants, black and white converse style tennis shoes, and carrying a medium-sized black purse without a shoulder strap.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 10:45 p.m, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Police Department responded to the 8300 block of 45th Street, in the city of Jurupa Valley in reference to a report of a missing adult. Deputies learned Betty Jean Toepfer, an 87-year-old elderly female was last seen at her residence on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 6:30 a.m.
Toepfer does not drive and is known to take the bus as her primary means of transportation. An extensive search of the area was conducted but Toepfer has not been located. Investigators assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
Betty Toepfer is described as a white elderly female who stands 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes possibly wearing a blazer type jacket or sweater and carrying a black purse. According to Betty’s family she wears a hearing aid and has slight memory loss. Toepfer does not have a cell phone and frequents the Jurupa Valley Library located at 8660 44th Street in the city of Jurupa Valley, and the downtown Riverside area. A Silver Alert was issued through the California Highway Patrol in an effort to locate Toepfer.
