Not everyone who works for the Sheriff wears a badge. The skills and experience of a wide variety of support personnel in non-sworn positions throughout Riverside County contribute to the success of the Sheriff's Office.

Minimum Requirements for Sheriff Support Staff
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in U.S.
- Oral and written communications skills
- U.S. high school diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent
Disqualifiers
- Conviction of misdemeanor domestic violence
- Currently on probation
- DUI violations within the last 3 years
- Felony convictions
- Lying or withholding any information
