The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) houses numerous enforcement teams and other specialized units for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The teams at SEB include:

  • Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT)
  • Emergency Services Team (EST)
  • Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team (FWET)
  • Hazardous Device Team (HDT)
  • K9 Team
  • Riverside County Off-road Vehicle Enforcement (ROVE)

The Special Enforcement Bureau responds to critical incidents and complex problems that often involve high risk apprehensions, high risk warrant services, fugitive apprehensions, hostage rescues, active shooters, dignitary protection, barricaded subjects, hazardous devices, maritime operations, counter terrorism details, off-road enforcement or any special assignment at the request of the Sheriff. Personnel assigned to the bureau receive advanced level training and certification in the specialized duty.  They are dedicated public servants of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the communities they serve.

The Bureau has built an exceptional reputation through its collaboration with allied agencies throughout the County of Riverside and other specialized units throughout California.
