Details:
On April 14th, 2020, at approximately 4:50 PM, deputies from the San Jacinto Station were dispatched to the 600 block of Drake Drive, City of San Jacinto, in regards to a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival deputies located evidence of a shooting but all subjects had fled the area. Shortly after, a non-responsive male subject was located in the area of Devonshire and State, in the City of Hemet. Medical aid was summoned, however he was pronounced deceased on scene. It was determined the subject had come from the area of where the shots fired call originated. Members of the Central Homicide Unit and the Hemet Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin. The investigation is ongoing, and it has been determined the public is not in danger from those involved.
