Details:

On April 2, 2020 at approximately 2:00 PM, members of the Murrieta / Temecula Regional Gang Task Force (Region 4 GTF) with the assistance of Region 6 Gang Task Force, the Temecula Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Team, a Temecula Riverside Sheriff’s Department Deputy, and a Riverside Sheriff Deputy K-9 from the Southwest Station served a search warrant at a large property in the 30800 block of La Ray Lane in the City of Menifee.  Three firearms, ammunition, an indoor marijuana grow, a stolen vehicle, and components of a Butane Honey Oil Clandestine Laboratory were located.  Resources from the Sheriff Department’s Special Investigations Bureau (SIB) and the Riverside Auto Theft Interdiction Detail (RAID) responded to assist GTF following the initial warrant service.  

Kenny Vierra, a 40-year old documented gang member was arrested on weapons, stolen property, and illegal manufacturing of a controlled substance charges.  

Anthony Ramirez, a 41-year old male on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) was arrested on weapons and probation violation charges.  Charges will be filed in the future with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.

The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is one of 5 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force which is a collaborative effort of 25 law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the California Highway Patrol, United States Border Patrol, Murrieta Police Department, Riverside County Probation Department, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
