Details:

On March 12, 2020 at 11:00 pm, Hemet Police Department patrol officers responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of W. Florida Ave., in the city of Hemet. Two individuals were shot at, but only one of the victims was struck by gunfire. The victim that was struck survived from his injury. Gang Task Force (GTF) detectives took over the investigation and identified the suspect as Jordan Marzette. While actively searching for Marzette, GTF detectives requested a warrant for his arrest for attempted murder, active participation in a gang, and gang enhancement. The warrant was granted and signed by a Superior County Judge. Marzette also had a felony no bail warrant for parole violation. 

On March 27, Jordan Marzette was arrested in the city of Moreno Valley with the assistance of the Moreno Valley PD- Special Enforcement Team (SET) and the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office- Gang Impact Team (GIT.) Marzette is a member of a Hemet based gang.
