On March 26, 2020 at approximately 6pm, members of the Murrieta / Temecula Regional Gang Task Force with the assistance of a Riverside Sheriff Deputy K-9 conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Bundy Canyon and Mission Trail in the City of Wildomar. An eventual search of the vehicle and of the driver revealed approximately 14 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and almost five thousand dollars’ cash. A follow-up search at a residence in Lake Elsinore revealed a loaded handgun and suspected drug packaging. The driver, Armando Perez-Gutierrez was arrested on several narcotics and weapons related charges.
