On Saturday, April 25, 2020, at approximately 9:40 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant in the 1900 block of Loreto Street regarding an illegal indoor marijuana grow house, in the city of San Jacinto. During the warrant service deputies located twelve makeshift grow rooms and 900 marijuana plants at various stages of growth, 250 lbs. of processed marijuana, packaging, digital scales, 2 fans, 30 lights and 41 ballast. California Edison responded and located an illegal electrical by-pass underneath the electrical meter, the estimated theft of utilities is $180,000.  Guiyu Luo, a 40-year-old resident of Rowland Heights was detained without incident. Ying Zhu, a 47-year-old resident of Rowland Heights ran inside the residence and hid in the attic. RSO SWAT and K9 personnel immediately responded and located the subject in a small crawl space, he was taken into custody without further incident. Both Zhu and Luo were later transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked for Maintaining a drug house,  Theft of utilities, Marijuana cultivation and Marijuana sales.
