On Tuesday, May 5th, 2020, at 9:42 P.M., the Moreno Valley Station’s Problem Oriented Policing Team served a search warrant at a residence in the 24200 block of Eucalyptus Avenue, in the city of Moreno Valley. The search warrant stemmed from a narcotics investigation at the location. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located a quarter pound of methamphetamine and a loaded firearm. Deputies arrested Scott Santy, a 48-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Santy was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance While Possessing a Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, and being Under the Influence While in Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
