Details: 

Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding two residential “Cat” burglaries that occurred on May 7, 2020, between the hours of 1:00 am – 3:30 am in the 90 block of Royal St. Georges Way and in the 30 block of Racquet Club Dr., Rancho Mirage. The victims were inside their homes when the suspects entered and removed property from within the residences. BSU identified Alexander Diehl, 23 years out of Yucca Valley and Mason Blackburn, 29 years out of Rancho Mirage, as suspects for their involvement in these burglaries. On 05 May 8, 2020, BSU located and arrested Diehl and Blackburn in the 81000 block of Indio Boulevard, Indio, for the residential “Cat” burglaries, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime and committing a felony while on bail. During the arrest of both suspects, Diehl and Blackburn were in possession of stolen property belonging to the victims. Diehl and Blackburn were transported to the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
