Details:

On May 7, 2020 at 0500 hours, members of the Murrieta / Temecula Regional Gang Task Force coordinated the execution of three gang related search warrants across Menifee and Homeland. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department – Special Enforcement Bureau, Major Crimes Unit, Corrections Intelligence Bureau, along with the Riverside Police Department’s Metro/SWAT Unit, Perris Station’s Special Enforcement Team, and Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, were involved in the large operation. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) also responded to one of the locations after officers uncovered a suspected large illegal outdoor marijuana grow. Some of the seized items included a SKS 7.62 rifle, modified shotgun, handgun, MAC-10 pistol, ammunition of all calibers, narcotics, possible stolen police uniforms / duty gear, counterfeit currency, and gang indicia. As a result of the operation, Kenny Vierra, Patrick Neeley, and Anthony Ramirez were arrested and booked into jail on a variety of weapon, ammunition, Post Release Community Supervision violations, and narcotic related charges. The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is one of 5 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force which is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the California Highway Patrol, United States Border Patrol, Murrieta Police Department, Riverside County Probation Department, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
