On Thursday, May 14, 2020, at approximately 0530 hours, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station were dispatched to the 12000 block of Romford Court in Moreno Valley reference a kidnapping.

The investigation revealed Nakia Criddell, age 30, of Los Angeles, forced entry into her aunt’s residence and forcefully removed her 8-year-old daughter against her will. Witnesses provided deputies with the license plate number and vehicle description of Nakia’s vehicle. Moreno Valley Station Investigations bureau assumed the investigation.
