On Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 10:54 AM, deputies from the Palm Desert Station responded to a call of a deceased male in the desert area of Afortunado Dr. and Santa Cruz Rd. in the unincorporated county area of Desert Hot Springs. Upon arrival they located a male deceased with injuries.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The identity of the deceased male has not yet been determined.
