Details:
On Friday, July 10, 2020, at 12:30 P.M., Coachella deputies from the Thermal Station contacted a subject at the 52000 Block of Cesar Chavez Street, in the city of Coachella. The contact was due to multiple previous reports of trespassing and vandalism at the location. The subject, identified as Lori Ann Perez, a 42-year-old resident of Coachella, was detained pursuant to the investigation.
During the detention, Perez, resisted the detention and attempted to flee from deputies. Perez was subsequently arrested. During the incident Perez sustained minor abrasions and medical was requested immediately to the scene. Medical personnel attempted to provide treatment of which Perez declined. Perez was booked at John Benoit Detention Center.
