Update:

We received information the juvenile has been seen in the  area of Thousand Palms and city of Indio.

Details: 

On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) assumed an investigation regarding an at-risk 12-year-old runaway.  On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, Genevieve “Lexi” Brinson ran away from the group home in Calimesa. On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, witnesses saw a juvenile that matched Genevieve’s description near the business commercial area of 72000 block of Varner Road in the unincorporated Riverside County area of Thousand Palms.  RCAHT and deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department are actively searching for Genevieve and requesting the public’s help locating her. 

The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is asking anyone with additional information to contact RCAHT Task Force Lead Investigator Oseguera at (760) 836-1600 or call anonymously at (760) 341-STOP (7867) and reference incident # R20 148 0005.
