Details:

On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, deputies from the Thermal Station responded to the area of Fillmore St. and Ave. 78 in Thermal to investigate a report of a dead body. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male who was the victim of a homicide. Investigators from Thermal Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The name of the deceased male is being withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin. The suspect(s) are currently outstanding. This is an active investigation and anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Investigator Deanne of the Central Homicide Unit at (951) 955-2777 or Investigator Celaya at the Thermal Station at (760) 863-8990.
