Details:

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 5:38 p.m., Perris Station deputies responded to the 60 block of East Nuevo Road in the city of Perris regarding a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned a male entered the business, brandished a firearm, demanded all the money in the register, and fled the location with $1,500 cash.

The Perris Station Burglary/Robbery Suppression Team assumed the investigation. Deputies learned the suspect entered an awaiting vehicle, driven by a male, after fleeing the location. On Friday, August 21, 2020, the Perris Station Burglary/Robbery Suppression Team, along with the Special Enforcement Team and Problem Oriented Policing Team, served a search warrant at a residence located on the 21000 block of Bailly Street in the unincorporated area of Mead Valley. A suspect fled out of the rear of the residence and was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. Deputies recovered a firearm and other evidence of the robbery inside the residence.

Frank Pinon, a 69 year-old resident of Stockton, was arrested for armed robbery, conspiracy, and an outstanding warrant for violation of parole. He was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.

Joe Pinon, a 72 year-old resident of Mead Valley, was arrested for armed robbery and conspiracy. He was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.
