Deputies from the Perris Station Problem Oriented Policing Team (POP) and Special Enforcement Team (SET), conducted further investigation regarding a theft that occurred on September 1, 2020, in the 4000 Block of N. Perris Boulevard, in the city of Perris.  

A Craigslist post was located advertising the victim’s property for sale at an extremely discounted price.  Deputies set up a meeting with the seller and during the meeting, 36-year-old Kyle Richard Dahlquist of Perris was in possession of the victim’s stolen property.  Dahlquist was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to improving the quality of life for all who reside in the community.  “Community Policing” involves partnerships between law enforcement and community members.
