Details:

On Saturday, September 12, 2020, deputies from the Hemet Station responded to the area of Gillman Springs and Highway 79 to investigate a report of a dead body. When deputies arrived, they located a deceased adult male who appeared to have been shot. The victim was later identified as Dean Michael Vincent Martinez, a 20 year old from Hemet. Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Hemet Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) are currently outstanding.
