Details:

On Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 9:16 PM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 150 block of Goldfinch Lane in the unincorporated Riverside County area of Highgrove. Deputies arrived within minutes and located an unconscious male adult, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Deputies rendered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The male, however, died at the scene.

Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Jurupa Valley Station and Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending next of kin notification. This is an active investigation, and no additional details are currently available.
