Details:

On Friday, October 30, 2020, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Cabazon Station conducted a Sex Offender Compliance Operation involving sex registrants residing in the communities of Cherry Valley, Cabazon, Whitewater, and the city of Calimesa.  Deputies conducted compliance checks on 21 registered Sex Offenders who reside within these communities.

As a result of these compliance checks, it was found that one registrant was out of compliance and he had moved from his last registered address. A criminal investigation is being conducted into his current whereabouts and charges will be filed with the District Attorney’s Office.

Twenty subjects were contacted and found to be in compliance with their sex offender registration.

The Cabazon Sheriff’s Station will continue to monitor and conduct random compliance checks of all registered sex offenders within these communities.
