Details:

On Wednesday, November 19th, 2020, at 7:00 P.M., members of the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Frederick Street, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies contacted, Lemon Bookart, a 19-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Deputies discovered Bookart was on probation for burglary.  A subsequent search of Bookart’s vehicle revealed a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun inside of the vehicle.

Bookart was taken into custody and charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Felon in Possession of a Concealed firearm, and Felon in Possession of an Unregistered Firearm. Bookart was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
