On September 30, 2020 deputies from the Perris Station Special Enforcement Team learned of an illegal marijuana grow operating on the 700 block Gypsum Ct., in the city of Perris.  The investigation led deputies to obtain a search warrant for the property.  The search warrant was served on December 4, 2020. A search of the property yielded 5 pounds of processed marijuana, 50 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, illegal fireworks, 10 firearms and over $20,000 in U.S Currency. All the marijuana was subsequently removed from the property, and all U.S. currency was collected for asset forfeiture.
