On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, about 1:57 PM, members of the Region 7 Regional Gang Task Force conducted a DMV inquiry of a vehicle parked in front of a known gang residence in the 3000 Block of Rubidoux Boulevard in Jurupa Valley. Task force officers recognized the registered owner as 42-year-old Jurupa Valley resident, Louis Feliciano Jimenez. Task Force officers previously knew Jimenez was a convicted felon and on probation for weapons violations. Task force officers located Jimenez at the residence and conducted a probation search of Jimenez’ vehicle and located a loaded and unregistered handgun concealed in the engine compartment.  Jimenez was booked into custody at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the following charges:

  • Felon in possession of a firearm
  • Possession of an unregistered firearm
  • Felon in possession of ammunition
  • Two counts of violating probation
