In January, 2021, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Problem Oriented Policing Team, received information about subjects selling narcotics at a residence in 33000 block of Orange Street, in the city of Wildomar, county of Riverside. On January 6, 2021, deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Problem Oriented Policing Team, performed a probation search at the property and located Alyssa McNevin, age 29, a resident of Wildomar, a previously convicted felon, was in possession of a loaded firearm, methamphetamine for sales, heroin, pills, and a large sum of U.S. currency. While at the location, deputies contacted Ruppel Thomas, age 40, a resident of the city of Wildomar, a previously convicted felon who was in possession of a loaded firearm, methamphetamine and heroin. Both Alyssa McNevin and Ruppel Thomas were transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center. Alyssa McNevin was booked into custody on the charges of narcotic sales, convicted felon in possession of a firearm and convicted felon in possession of ammunition.  Ruppel Thomas was booked on the charges of convicted felon in possession of a firearm, convicted felon in possession of ammunition, possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin.
