Details:

On January 21, 2021, at 6:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), served a search warrant at a residence in the 43-500 block of Smurr Street in the city of Indio. The search warrant stemmed from an assault incident which occurred on January 19, 2021, in the city of Coachella. During the search warrant service, the suspected weapons used in the assault were located and seized. Documented gang member and convicted felon Adrian Singleterry, 31 of Indio, was arrested for attempt homicide, conspiracy to commit attempt homicide, felon in possession of a firearm, and a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Parole hold. Also arrested was April Singleterry, 18 of Indio, for attempt homicide, conspiracy to commit attempt homicide, and aiding in a felony after the fact. Both Adrian Singleterry and April Singleterry were booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
