On July 25, 2019, members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Kalmia Avenue in the City of Murrieta.  The driver was identified as Jonathon Fitzpatrick, a 31 year old Lake Elsinore resident.  Fitzpatrick was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS).  A search of his possessions and vehicle resulted in the recovery of ¼ pound of Psilocybin, several hundred dollars, and almost 2 pounds of marijuana.  

Jonathon Fitzpatrick was arrested and booked into CBDC on the following charges:

3455 PC          Probation Violation
11351 HS        Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales

The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is one of 5 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force which is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force is staffed with members from the California Highway Patrol, United States Border Patrol, Murrieta Police Department, Riverside County Probation Department, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
