Details:
On January 29, 2021, deputies from the Palm Desert Station responded to the 73000 block of Stanton Drive to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located a deceased adult male who appeared to have been shot. The victim was identified as Edward Pierce, a 39-year old male from Thousand Palms. Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Palm Desert Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) fled the area prior to deputies arrival and are still outstanding.
