Details:
On Friday, February 12, 2021, at 4:19 AM, Colorado River Station deputies responded to a Burglary in Progress in the 24000 Block State Highway 95, in the unincorporated area of Blythe known as North River. Upon arrival, Deputies detained Nicholas Tilton, 35 years old, of Long Beach. Two other suspects fled the scene and were unaccounted for. An extensive search of the area was conducted, with the assistance of La Paz County Sheriff’s K9 unit, with negative results. Tilton’s vehicle was located just south of the property that had been burglarized and contained several items of suspected stolen property. Tilton was later booked at the Riverside County Jail in Blythe for burglary.
At 1259 hours, Deputies received a follow-up call for service to the above-mentioned burglary. Several callers were reporting that the two outstanding subjects from the earlier burglary were back on the property. Upon arrival, Deputies were directed to the two subjects, who were later identified as Michael Boyce, 26 years old, of Lakewood, and Yvonne Blair, 26 years old, of Lomita. Both subjects were taken into custody and later booked at the Riverside County Jail in Blythe for burglary.
