On June 26, 2019, a deputy from the Perris-Lake Elsinore Gang Task Force stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 4th and D street in the city of Perris for expired registration tags.  The driver, who was later identified as Thomas Arrow, age 42 and a resident of Perris, could not provide a valid driver license.  The deputy also noticed an open container of alcohol in the center console.  Arrow was detained and removed from the vehicle.  During a search of Arrow’s vehicle, deputies located a loaded semi-automatic pistol hidden in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.  Arrow has several felony convictions in Los Angeles county and is a gang member from the Compton area.  He was arrested for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm in public.  Arrow was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta and bail was set at $10,000.
