Details:

On Friday, January 22, 2021, deputies assigned to the Perris Station responded to Perris High school regarding a past lewd acts with a child that occurred between 2013 and 2016. The suspect was identified as a current teacher, who at the time of these incidents was employed as a tutor and volleyball coach. The information was immediately forwarded to the Perris Station Detective Bureau for further investigation. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that 29-year-old Gerardo Regalado of Perris had committed lewd acts on two former students.

On Thursday, February 18, 2021, Gerardo Regalado was interviewed by Perris Station investigators and arrested for various charges related to Lewd Acts with a Child. Regalado was subsequently booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
