Details:
On March 3, 2021, at 7:31 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to a report of a major injury traffic collision on Pigeon Pass Road, north of Lawless Road. Deputies and Fire/Rescue personnel arrived within minutes and began rescue efforts on the vehicle involved, occupied only by the driver. The driver was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation. The preliminary investigation revealed a white Honda Accord was northbound on Pigeon Pass Road. For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
A portion of Pigeon Pass Road was closed during the investigation. The investigation is continuing and alcohol appears to be a factor.
