On Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 7:15 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to Puentes Drive and East Commonwealth Avenue, in the city of San Jacinto, regarding a sexual battery.
The victim, an adult female, walked past the suspect on a walking path near Esplanade Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue.
As the victim was on her way home, she saw the same male suspect standing on a different walking path. The suspect spoke to the victim as she passed him; however, she could not hear what was said. The suspect then lunged at the victim and touched her buttocks. The victim screamed, and the suspect fled towards Los Rosas Avenue.
The victim described the suspect as a short, heavy-set Hispanic male adult, last seen wearing a grey/black hoodie and grey pants.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Forensics unit was requested for a sketch.
