On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, the Perris-Lake Elsinore Regional Gang Task Force conducted a probation compliance check in the 700 block of Spinnaker Drive in the city of Perris. The purpose of the check was to ensure the probationer was in compliance with the terms of his release. At the conclusion of the compliance check, 24-year-old Moises Salazar was arrested for possession of a firearm/ammunition, possession of heroin, and a probation violation. A 17-year-old juvenile and documented gang member was also present at the location. The juvenile was arrested for possession of a loaded and unregistered firearm. They were booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center and Southwest Juvenile Hall respectively.
