Details:

On Thursday, April 8, 2021, at approximately 7:34 AM, deputies assigned to the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station responded to the 4000 block of Dracker Dr. in the unincorporated area of Blythe, reference a theft. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Miguel Angel Romo, (39-year-old of Thousand Palms) who was in possession stolen copper. Upon further investigation, it was determined Romo had stolen the copper from a nearby business. The total weight for the copper was approximately 667.5 pounds and valued at about $1835.62.

Romo was arrested and later booked at the Blythe Jail for grand theft and possession of stolen property.
