On Saturday, May 29th – May 31st, 2021 (Memorial Day Weekend), Colorado River Station (CRS) will be conducting high visibility boating safety patrol along the Colorado River. The Colorado River Station covers a large area of the river stretching north to the San Bernardino County Line and South to the Imperial County Line.

CRS Deputies will enforce boating safety laws, focusing on education and prevention. Additionally, CRS Deputies will be providing boating safety handouts from the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways. A “zero tolerance” policy will be in effect for reckless/unsafe boating and boating under the influence.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Colorado River Station is dedicated the safety of our community and wants to ensure that everyone on our waterway’s have a safe and enjoyable experience. All boating related questions should directed to Sgt. Berryman at (760) 921-7900.
