Details:

A homicide suspect has been identified and is wanted in connection with the murder of 27 year old, Pedro Ramirez-Hernandez.

On June 21, 2021, deputies from the Hemet Station responded to the 40000 block of Marcela Lane to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as Pedro Ramirez-Hernandez, a 27 year-old from Fresno, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Hemet Station were notified and have assumed the investigation. On July 2, 2021, Hernandez died from the injuries he sustained during the shooting. Angel Contreras, a 25 year-old male from Hemet, is wanted for his role in the murder of Hernandez and is currently outstanding.
