Deputies and Investigators assigned to the Perris Station Robbery / Burglary Suppression Team immediately assumed the investigation. During the investigation, it was learned two suspects used a social media website to make arrangements to purchase an item from the victim. The victim agreed to meet the suspects at an address on Spectacular Bid Street, and when all parties had arrived, the two suspects robbed the victims at gunpoint. Within the first several hours of the investigation, Airron Willis of Moreno Valley and Diamond Crummie of Banning were identified as suspects. With the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, a search warrant was served at the location. Both suspects had fled shortly before the service of the warrant, and warrants were issued for both suspects.
