Details:

On October 14, 2021 at 8:49 AM, patrol deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a sexual assault on a child, in the unincorporated area of Blythe. Deputies arrived at the residence and spoke with witnesses, who identified a suspect. Deputies located the suspect’s vehicle in the 14000 block of Neighbors Blvd. and conducted surveillance on it. At 2:45 PM, the suspect entered the vehicle and drove it to a nearby gas station, where deputies detained him without incident. Kenneth Carlton, age 57 of Blythe, was arrested on multiple counts of sexual assault and booked at the Blythe Jail.
