On November 4, 2021, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT) with the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), and the Riverside Auto theft Interdiction Detail (RAID), served a search warrant at a ranch style property in the 87-800 block of Avenue 52 in the unincorporated area of Thermal. The search warrant stemmed from an auto theft investigation. During the search warrant service, multiple firearms, approximately 1/2 pound of methamphetamine, ammunition, and items indicative of narcotic sales were located and seized. A total of seven stolen vehicles and stolen property were also located and recovered on the property.

Arrested were Ismael Cisneros, 49 of Thermal, for possession of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics while armed, and possession of unregistered firearms, Ramon Reynaga, 45 of Indio, for a narcotic warrant, Felipe Ramirez, 40 of Thermal, for possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of stolen property, Gerardo Ramirez, 31 of Thermal, for possession of drug paraphernalia, Manuel Jaime, 42 of Thermal, for possession of methamphetamine, and Miguel Villanueva, 40 of Thermal, for a felony probation violation warrant. The subjects were booked at John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
