Update:
Perris, Calif.- The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Perris Station, conducted a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) / Driver’s License checkpoint on Saturday, December 18, 2021. The checkpoint was on Ramona Expressway and Rider Street between the hours of 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM. The checkpoint yielded the following:
• 756 vehicles through the checkpoint
• 31 vehicles screened
• 21 citations issued
• 8 citations issued for unlicensed driver
• 2 citations issued for driving on a suspended license
• 6 vehicles towed
• 2 DUI arrest
