On December 20, 2021, and December 21, 2021, a parade of police and sheriff cars from the Inland Empire will drive-thru hospitals in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to spread holiday cheer. With lights and sirens activated, law enforcement officers hope to spread as much cheer to doctors, nurses, and all hospital staff, who have worked around the clock over the last two years to keep the community safe; a mission law enforcement shares.

On Monday, December 20, 2021, starting at 9 a.m., law enforcement officers from Riverside and San Bernardino Counties will parade simultaneously in their areas.  Riverside County agencies will start in the Coachella Valley and work their way west, stopping at hospitals in Indio, Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, Banning, and Moreno Valley.

With the help of our sponsors, Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), the Sheriff’s Employee Benefits Association (SEBA), and Stater Bros., this coordinated effort of over 25 law enforcement agencies from local, state, and federal agencies will travel a total of over 300 miles and visit 30 hospitals.  In its second year, #IEholidaycheer is one of the largest events of its kind involving Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

So, if you see the parade, honk and wave as a way to show support for our efforts in thanking our front-line workers, who undoubtedly give 100% every single day.
