Details:
On January 20, 2022, at 12:47 PM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an assault on Limonite Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard in the city of Jurupa Valley. The investigation revealed that a male adult in his 50’s was standing in the roadway near that location blocking traffic. The driver of a white (single cab) 2007 Ford F350 stopped his vehicle to avoid striking the male. An altercation occurred between the two men in the middle of the street. When the driver of the truck returned to his vehicle and attempted to leave, he struck the victim in the roadway with his vehicle and left the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries.
