On February 12, 2022, about 2:58 AM deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, were driving west on Sunnymead Boulevard, east of Heacock Street, when they saw a pedestrian lying unresponsive in the roadway. The subject had injuries which indicated he had been struck by a vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
