On Friday, October 11, 2019, at 6:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence in the 46000 block of Calhoun Street in Indio.  During the search warrant Task Force Officers seized heroin, methamphetamine, ammunition and evidence of illegal narcotics sales.  Aristeo Zamora Arroyo, 33 of Indio and Raquel Romero, 52 of Indio were arrested for Possession of Narcotics for Sales.  Romero was booked at the Indio Jail.  Arroyo was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation related to a preexisting medical condition.  Charges will be filed on both suspects.
