During the course of this investigation, one of the suspects was identified as 25-year-old, Andre Williams, of Las Vegas. On May 31, 2022, Williams who was previously in custody in a Riverside County Jail for unrelated charges, had the following charges added: Murder, two counts of Attempt Murder, and Use of a Firearm in the commission of Murder. The investigation remains open due to the outstanding suspects, and no further information will be released at this time. If anyone has information regarding this investigation, they are encouraged to call Investigator Munoz with the Central Homicide Unit at 951-955-2777due to the additional suspects outstanding.

Details:

On December 18, 2021, at about 6:24 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to the 2100 block of N. Perris Blvd., regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies arrived within minutes and located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds in front of a business. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies secured the business complex as a crime scene and additional investigative staff from Perris Sheriff Station responded. The Central Homicide Unit also responded and assumed the investigation.

The victim was identified as Xavier Porter, 29 years of Perris. The investigation is currently on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
