On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, about 12:42 PM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to the Valley View High School received information of an assault on school property.

The ensuing investigation led to the identification of a 14-year-old male student. The SRO obtained school video surveillance depicting the student assaulting another 14-year-old male student. The victim did not sustain any visible injuries, and he declined medical attention.
