On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, with the assistance of California Highway Patrol K-9 Team, served a search warrant at a residence located in the 66000 block of Cahuilla Avenue in Desert Hot Springs. During the service of the search warrant, Gang Task Force Officers located illegal narcotics, including cocaine and psilocybin, and a short barrel AR-15 rifle. Gang Task Force Officers arrested Arthur Eugene Uribe Jr., a 23-year-old of Desert Hot Springs, for possession of narcotics for sales, possession of a firearm with narcotics and possession of a short barrel rifle. Uribe Jr. was subsequently transported to John Benoit Detention Center and booked.
